| About Your Instructors: Jack Murray is one of the nation's leading authorities on accident investigation. He is qualified as an expert in State, County and Federal courts. Mr. Murray has testified in hundreds of civil and criminal cases all over the United States. Mr. Murray is internationally recognized as a lecturer and teacher and has received numerous accolades from his peers. He has twice been a winner of the prestigious Editor-Publisher Award of the National Association of Legal Investigators. In 1998, he was named one of the top five investigators in America by PI Magazine and in 2000 was named one of the Top 25 Investigators of the Century by the National Association of Investigative Specialists. In 1996, he was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Association of Investigative Specialists and in 1997, received the National Directors Award from the National Association of Legal Investigators, the 2003 Author of the Year Award from NAIS and was the winner of the R.,K, Hakanson Award from the Evidence Photographers International Council for his contributions to the field of evidence photography 2004. Mr. Murray is a former Regional Director of the National Association of Legal Investigators and former President of the North Texas Private Investigators Association. Mr. Murray has been a Texas licensed private investigator since 1976, a Certified Legal Investigator through the National Association of Legal Investigators since1985, a Certified Fraud Examiner through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners since 1997, a Certified Instructor in Accident Investigation/Reconstruction by the Texas Commission on Private Security since 1996, a Certified Instructor through the Texas Department of Insurance since 1996, a Certified Expert, Accident Investigation, National Association of Investigative Specialists since 1996, and a Certified Criminal Defense Investigator- Criminal Defense Investigator Training Council since 1999. Mr Murray has served as Chairman of the National Association Of Legal Investigator's Certification Committee from 1988 to 1991. He was also Chairman of the National Association Of Legal Investigator's (NALI) Education Committee from 1988 to 1989 and chairman of the NALI Editor-Publisher Awards Committee from 1991 to 1997. He is an Advisory Board Member of the Public Defender Investigator Program -Stuart Florida. Jay Murray is Jack Murray's son who is a practicing Texas attorney. Jay Murray specializes in personal injury and wrongful death cases and is one of the nation's leading attorneys in this area. Jay Murray obtained his B.A. from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1995. |
