The new generation Motion Activated GPS Utrak CARTrak Datalogger comes with a weatherproof case with battery operation, magnetic mount and battery saver "sleep" mode. Ther sleeper mode conserves battery power annd only activated the unit when the vehiclke is in motion. By using this method, and including two battery power sources, we have greatly advanved the battery life of the unit. Under normal driving conditions, you can get up to three weeks of logging without having to obtain the unit to replace the batteries. The unit will log up to 50 hours of driving time.
