In the early 90's, the Soviet SpezNaz (special forces) placed a procurement for a new rifle scope. The DN-200 was chosen from more expensive 2nd. and 3rd. gen. devices because of the exceptionally high resolution and com pact size. The scope was successfully tested in Chechnya and approved.
