It would appear there is some interest in Internet Search Engines and the use of. I am certainly

no expert (far from it) in surfing the net, in fact I'm certain there are those on this list that

have been surfing the net since it's inception and are significantly more experienced than I.

However, on more then one occasion I have been asked, "how do you find all those great

URL's Joe?" Well, it is just a matter of effectively finding and not just searching.

 

With the 'net" being as vast as it is, I refer to as a black hole since its growth and functionality

will be ever increasing. The need to "effectively" search the web is a must for the modern day

investigator.

 

If one would take time to research some of the great search servers and search software programs.

They will be thankful in the end for the time saved later in conducting a routine search string later.

Here are just a few metasearch tools I use to browse. I hope they will be of assistance to one of you, and if I listed one already mentioned, my apologies.

One more note here, as mentioned one has to "effectively search." In order to do that one must become familiar with search engines and develop a learned insight to their use.
