The ACM
Countermeasures Kit 1960's, 1970's |
A cut above the Hotdog Alcheapo Detective Agencies who had $49.95 "bug
detectors", this model was a professional grade countermeasures kit
developed by Ted Swift that would check phone lines, electrical wiring
and sweep a room for RF signals. The kit sold for about $1895.00, a lot
of money for it's time. This kit has been used by Ralph Thomas on major
TSCM sweeps.
On the left is the ACM RF Detector.
It had an adio verification mode with other plug-ons. On the right is
the ACM main TSCM sweep box. It did it all! Become of the various setting
and modes, it took some practice and time to learn how to use all it's
features.
