Kennedy's Detective Secret Service Badge 1800's
This badge is from the 1800's. Kennedy's Detective Secret Service was likely the second American Detective Agency in America. Kennedy originally worked for Pinkerton's National Detective Agency and then went out on his own in Ohio. Some things never change do they? In these early days of private detective agencies (there were few few of them) they tended to work with the federal government and had contracts with them.
