Magnum PI TV Show Starring Tom Selleck, 1980s
Magnum PI starring Tom Selleck aired on CBS from 1980 until 1988. The show was based on a private investigator (Tom Selleck) who had an arrangement with a wealthy writer who had an estate in Hawaii Selleck could live at in return for providing security for the place. What a life! For it's first five years of running, the show was ranked in the top twenty. The show ran 60 minutes and 164 episodes were made.
