
Metrigraph Model 80D Portable
Polygraph, 1930's
The Metrigraph is a very early polygraph that gave end results with what
it called a "“PSYCHOGALVANIC REFLEX" meter. This unit
was a wales sample for a company called Federal Laboratories, a company
that supplied law enforcement equipment. It ran on batteries which you
can see from the first photograph required several and were very large.
Amazingly, these are the batteries that came with the unit. It has a leather
wrist band and two finger electrodes. The unit was made by Metrigraph
Instrument Company of Burbank, Ca. Below is a close up photo of the product
