RUSSIAN NIGHT VISION SCOPES Up until Russian night vision scopes hit the market after the Soviet Union collapsed, night vision scopes would cost the average private investigator what would be about $8,000 by today's standards. That all changed when the USA market started getting flooded with once restricted military surplus night vision from Russia. These Scopes where not as good as those made in the USA but they were one tenth the cost. Private investigators bought them up before the days of digital cameras. The Russian night vision scope above was what was called "camera adaptable" with a hard mount which made it highly popular. At one time, the Spy Exchange And Security Center could retail all they could of this type of model which sold for about $1495.00. Although some of this kind of stuff is still around today, the demand for these products are very low and very cheap. From
