Detective Agency Yellow Page Ads, New York City, 1958
Note that the
International Bureau Of Investigation was a member of The
International Secret Service, The World Secret service Association, The
National
Detective Association, and the Federation Of British Detectives. Note
that" all
automobiles equipped with mobile telephones" (that was really something
for 1958!)
When you scan through the yellow page ads of New York City for 1958, two things stick out. All Detective Agencies offered guard services. The majority of them offered " matrimonial" investigations. There were 15 yellow page ads and 30 detective agencies listed. There was nothing listed under investigators. Below are some of the other yellow page ads listed.
