Allen Pinkerton And His Secret Service Friends Photo

A photo of Major Allan Pinkerton with his Secret Service Department friends taken at Antietam, Maryland. Pinkerton is the first man of the left in the chair. For President Lincoln, Pinkerton was really the head of intelligence gathering for the Civil War. They unofficially called it the Secret service.
