Sony M-909 Auto Reverse Microcassette
Recorder, 1990's
Up until the the time the micro digital audio recorders came about, the
Sony M-909 was the world's smallest tape recorder. It was used by private
investigators and law enforcement for a number of different types of operations.
The M-909 measures a mere 2 1/2 inches X 2 inches X 1/2 inch. It features
included voice activation and auto reverse. The
Spy Exchange And Security Center sold hundreds of these recorders
in the recorder's hay-day in the 1980's and early 1990's. The
M-909 sold for about $495.00.
