RB Clifton Telephone Line Tone Sweep, 1960s
The RB Clifton telephone line tone sweep would send out a series of tones
on a phone line to turn on any bugs wired to the line and then detect
them with it's meter reading. RB Clifton manufactured countermeasures
gear ad bumper beepers out of Florida in the 1960's and 1970's and was
one of the major international companies for such cutting-edge products
for it's time.
