either side of an overlaid Silver centerpiece with a nugget of genuine
Turquoise. He uses top grade Sterling Silver in all his work and number
one grade genuine Sleeping Beauty Turquoise. Turquoise and other beads
make up the length between the feathers and the Sterling Silver hook
eye and comb clasps. His silver work is an absolute masterpiece of overlay.

Thomas Singer, is known throughout the world for his jewelry work. His
overlay pieces incorporate the most traditional of Navajo design - designs

Overlay is created by "sweating" or soldering, two pieces
of silver together. The top piece contains a design element which is
meticulously cut out of silver. The bottom piece is oxidized and often
textured to produce a contrasting background. Then carefully filed,
buffed and polished to produce this fine finish.
