The ZapChecker Advanced can detect and locate even the tiniest of transmitters. Its high sensitivity and wide bandwidths are achieved by utilizing new integrated circuits developed for use in cell phones and wireless devices. These new components enable the ZapChecker to detect even the weakest signals down to baseline ambient levels of radio frequencies. All RF signals within the bandwidth are detected - analog, digital, pulsed, hopping, spread spectrum, and trunking. The ZapChecker is hundreds of times more sensitive than standard field strength meters, and more sensitive than most spectrum analyzers. It is particularly suitable for the detection of RF signals from transmitting bugs and covert cameras. Its unique sensitivity enables it to detect high frequency devices from over 25 feet away. It features a large easy-to-read analog display with intensity-modulated 2-color LEDs, and an intensity-modulated vibrator option. The ZapChecker features electronically-switched antenna selection options between its two internal antennas and its external log periodic antenna. It provides three switchable detection modes - linear (for detection from a distance), log (to sort through multiple signal sources), and mid (to home in and pinpoint devices). Its ergonomically enginered design is small enough to fit in your pocket and it is also free-standing for convenient continuous monitoring.
