ACTIVATING YOUR UNIT

There is a one time $50.00 activation fee to set up your account and then a
$22.50 per month charge for your web access account which is billed in
three month cycles.

Cell phone pings are purchased in advance in blocks at the following rates:

60.00 for 233 pings
$102.00 for 466 pings
$153.00 for 699 pings
$279.70 for 1398 pings
531.24 for 2796 pings

Cell phone pings must be paid for in advance. When you get low on pings, the system will notify you. After that, you simply purchase more pings.

Before your unit is activated, the unit needs to be taken out in the open air with the batteries installed and you need to let it set for about a half an hour. From the time you activate your unit on your end, it can sometimes take between 24 hours to 5 working days before your unit is working because of the steps involved.

IMPORTANT! Adjustment Settings On Your Unit: Once you are activated, you can set the ping rate on your unit. However, you can NOT send more than one command every half hour. This also applies to the "Locate Now" function. When you do that, you take the chance of causing your unit to freeze and lock up which must then be reset and reprogrammed which could take several days. Utrak reserves the right to charge another activation fee for those who keep locking up their unit by attempting to change the ping rate or by hitting "Locate Now" more than one time every half hour.

A signed hold harmless agreement must be on file with Utrak, Inc. before your unit is activated. After your charges are cleared and approved, you will be emailed
your user name and password.
